A huge well done to those of you who are accessing these online resources, especially those who have been using Times Table Rockstars, Mathletics and Bug Club. Keep your eye out for more new Battle of the Bands on Times Tables Rockstars.

The week beginning 22 June was won by 5LS who scored 872 points more! A new battle is on! Who will win this time?

Home Learning

We have added a new Home Learning Summer 2 folder to the existing resources available in the Curriculum / Home Learning folder to include some suggested activities for home learning projects for children who are unable to come into school in light of the latest government guidelines.

Our First News - 'Read All About It' folder now gives the children access to the newspaper that we have in school each week. Included alongside this are some activities linked to the newspaper, including quizzes and puzzles.

All children have a Maths and English text book at home and these can be used be used as a basis for learning activities without specific homework tasks needing to be set from school. Children who were present at the end of the day on Tuesday 17th March have been issued with their log ins for Bug Club, Times Table Rockstars and Mathletics. If parents of children who were absent on this date wish to have these details sent out, please contact the office who will pass on your request to the Year 5 team.

Finally, the BBC have an interactive website- BBC Bitesize KS2 which also provides useful and valuable learning opportunities for children.  BBC Teach Live Lessons are now available and these can also be accessed as a catch-up service. https://www.bbc.co.uk/teach/live-lessons

Best wishes to you all.
