If you do any on-line shopping, please register with this site. There are hundreds of sites accessible through it, at no cost to you at all (hard to believe, but it’s true), and the school can benefit immensely from donations from the companies. It really is money for nothing!
Bug Club – our online eBooks reading scheme – is moving to a new URL with an improved look and feel and functionality, including the option to read Bug Club on iPads. Our Bug Club upgrade has now taken place so use the above link when you and your children access Bug Club at home. If you have one, you'll now be able to access Bug Club's eBooks on your iPad. To do this, you'll need an iPad 2, 3 or 4 or an iPad Mini, with operating system iOS 7.0 or above and it is recommended that you use iPad’s default Safari browser. If you use Bug Club on a laptop or desktop computer at home, it is recommended that you use Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox web browsers. If you prefer to use Internet Explorer, you will need at least IE10 in order for the content to work. Unfortunately, Bug Club won’t be compatible with any Android devices.
If you have any questions about our Bug Club upgrade, please speak to your child’s class teacher. Happy reading!
The new class ‘Super Mathlete’ trophy seems to have spurred the children on - there has been a positive flurry of activity on the website! Our new individual ‘Maths Magician’ owls will be awarded to the child in each class with the highest weekly points total. (Oscar, the mathematical owl, will stay in school, but will be in the care of that child until the following Friday). If your child has misplaced their Mathletics login details, we will be happy to issue another copy of them.
Expert advice, top tips and activity ideas so you can help your child with reading and maths.
