Arthog Day 2

Another fabulous day.

Breakfast was a ‘Full English’ and the children loved it.

Our morning activity was surfing!  After the short drive to Fairbourne Beach, each of our four groups were allocated their own section of beach.  The children started by learning how to stay on the board after catching a wave before they graduated to kneeling to ride a wave and, for our experts, standing to ride a wave.

We returned to the centre for lunch.  We had submarine rolls (very apt after a surf!), crisps and a lovely cherry flapjack.

In the afternoon, we either did a bush craft trail or built rafts.  Much fun was had by all.

Tea was fish and chips followed by pancakes.

Our evening activity was orienteering.

After hot chocolate and birthday cake (thank you Delilah), our tired party members went to bed.
