Governance

School Governing Bodies have three strategic functions which are to:

Ensure clarity of vision, ethos and strategic direction;
Hold the Headteacher to account for the educational performance of the school and its pupils;
Oversee the financial performance of the school and make sure its money is well spent.

Governors are volunteers, who work together as a team, to support the school.
Our Governing Body has eleven members who have a wide range of experience and expertise, enabling them to oversee the effective governance and success of the school.
Our Governing Body membership also reflects the strong commitment to the values of the school’s Methodist and Anglican traditions.
