Year 1

Welcome to Year 1

Year 1 Newsletter 24.11.23

It’s been the start of our rehearsals of ‘The Angel who nearly missed it all’ and the children have been enjoying learning the songs. Letters will be sent home stating what part your child will have and what costumes they will need.

You will have received a letter this week about an exciting opportunity for a visit from the Shropshire Falconry. Please could you ensure that you have signed the consent form. If you need another copy, please see the office.

In Maths we have been continuing our work on shape. The children have been naming and sorting 2D and 3D shapes.

In our History this week the children have been continuing to write about what they had learnt on their visit to Blists Hill.

PE days will be as normal next week- Monday and Friday.

Have a great weekend

Mrs Nicholls
