For our children, one of the greatest things we can offer is the opportunity for experiencing new things in different ways. Due to the pandemic and stepped-up measures, we have not had as many opportunities for visits as we would normally like, but we are making a start once more!

At John Fletcher of Madeley, Educational Visits and Outdoor and Adventurous Activities are our chance to bring the curriculum alive and create inspirational moments that children can hang their knowledge and new learning on and help them build the connections across their learning. This is where our key values of Aspiration, Compassion, Hope and Perseverance really shine!
They offer opportunities to enrich the curriculum, enabling the children to have first-hand experience of a wide range of experiences and activities. On residential visits especially, there is opportunity to develop social skills which have a long-lasting beneficial effect. The many benefits to the children include:
