Our week in Reception – 09.02.2024

Reception have had wonderful end to this half term this week. Our focus text we have been reading was, ‘The adventures of egg box dragon,’ written by Richard Adams. We created our own egg box dragons using junk modelling.

We have also been learning about the Chinese New Year. We read the story, acted it out using props and learnt about their traditions. We created our own lanterns and listened to Chinese music and performed. The children have all brought home a fortune cookie to celebrate the Lunar New Year!
