Year 5 have had another fantastic week of learning and are working at everything with all their heart.
In English, we have focussed on making our writing persuasive so people want to buy OUR longboats and nobody else’s. We have moved onto looking at long homes and our Chance to Shine next week will be based on this. Which one will you buy?
In Maths, we have finished our first unit on multiplication and division by multiplying and dividing by 10, 100 and 1,000. We have begun looking at fractions and equivalent fractions.
In Science, we have enjoyed investigated levers and whether the further away from the pivot the object is, the lesser or more force is needed to lift the object.
The homework for this week has been put on the homework section of our Year 5 page.
