Year 3 Homework
Here you will find your weekly homework. It will be uploaded every Monday, with the expectation that it will be returned for the following Monday.
Each week you will find Maths, reading and writing tasks. Your spellings will appear in the ‘Spellings’ tab, further down our class page. Paper copies are available for tasks that require being handwritten. Some homework will be allocated via your child’s Mathletics or Bug Club log in.

Your Maths homework this week is to compare the value of three-digit numbers. There is a worksheet attached, as well as tasks assigned via Mathletics. Log in to find your task that has been allocated to you.

Your reading homework for this week is to ensure you have read daily with an adult at home. Don’t forget to document this in your reading diary. In addition to this, children who attend RWI sessions, you have been assigned your book via your Oxford Owl account. This will be the same log in as you had in Year 2.
Children who are in my group for English, your additional reading homework can be found via your Bug Club account. Once logged in, you will find your book allocated to you. Please press the bug image in order to complete the comprehension questions throughout.
Your writing homework for this week is to correct the punctuation by adding capital letters, full stops, question marks and inverted commas. To remind you of where to use the punctuation marks watch the video here:
